One of the most widely accepted rye mash bills is a blend of 51% corn and 49% rye with a dash of wheat, so we turned to the warehouse floors for a wheated recipe bourbon that captures the essence of the classic Weller line. The result is this limited edition vintage release, bottled at 95 proof and crafted with barrels from three different warehouses—from different floors that varied in physical characteristics from year to year.

But what makes it different from other whiskeys, is that it has been made with a full double wash and hot water blend to clean the whiskey before aging in spirit using the oldest method of distillation known as pot stills. This unique blend forms our signature triple filtration process, which allows us to produce high-quality bourbon without adding any artificial sweeteners. Each batch of whiskey undergoes over 100 hours of double-washing during its aging process in new charred oak barrels which add flavor to the finished product but also help protect against spoilage until ready for consumption.
